What to wear- horse and rider for a dressage clinic

Okay so I have what you might calla dumb question...but hermit is anyways

I'm taking my little Ollie to his first clinic (dressage) I have watched tons of lessons with this clinician, his name is Charlie Pinnaro from calinforna- here is more info on him :)

Charles Pinneo Sport Horses

Anyways, I'll be using a friends dressage saddle, cause I have not been able to buy mine yet. I dont usually put polls or boots of Ollie when I work him, but the arena we will be working in is pretty thick in footing and I'm planning on having him help me lunge him and then ride so here is my main question, should I use polo wraps or boots on him or nothing at all?

I'm planing on wear my new full seats and my black polo t-shirt (tucked in of course)

Anything else?

Polo wraps are better than boots when put on correctly, they give more close contact support. Just make sure all tack is clean and your boots shined ;)

Good luck and have fun :)

P.S take lots of pictures!

Horses are scared of two things... Things that move and things that don't.

I know how to put on polos correctly :)
Can't wait, I am so excited! With my last mare I did a few clinics but slot of it was damage control and very stressful after our accident. Bow that I have a way better young prospect who is safe and sane and loves to go out and about with no biggie it's way more exciting. The next time he comes out is in Septemeber sometime, he comes for two days and this session I am only doing one lesson (can't affored $200 for twoblessons as a poor college student, need more time to save up or sell more tack I don't use!)
I'll get tons of video and pictures!
This next week and couple days will be lots of riding, working in me staying soft and riding forward!
By the next clinic I will have my new dressage saddle! Yay!

White polos, white saddle pad, breeches, tucked in polo shirt, a belt, helmet, hairnet and bun, glove and sparkling tack are normal attire for a Dressage clinic.

Good luck and learn lots!
