I missed that too.

In that case - you do report him to the tech manager/supervisor. It is not unheard of for support staff to be let go.

Well it was more like a very aggressive body posture...but anytime a grown man gets less than 12 inches from me staring me in the eye clenching on to my horse's lead rope and jerking it out of my hand when I try to take control...I consider that a threat.

I have since looked on their website. He has only worked there for a year and he is fresh out of a 4 year army stint. I guess he expected me and my horse to step-to!!

Sorry If I left out parts...I always think to fast to type it all. I also forgot to add the part where I told the vet twice NOT to wash my horse's sheath...and they started doing it while I was talking to my husband and charged me anyway.

That's not really a threat though...
I guess it's hard to see through the emotions to the story. Like I said, I think you should sit down and write your vet a letter explaining what he didn't see. Make sure to not make it emotional though..just factual.

Just out of curiosity...what would constitute a threat? Maybe I spend to much time with horses and their "language"...his body posture was definitely telling me THREAT!

Sorry you had a lousy weekend...but I'm very glad to hear that your horse is going to be ok. I too think you should write a letter to the vet. I understand policies, but I think that tech acted very inappropriately....to you and your horse. I know those kinds of places can be busy, but I personally think you can get farther faster by taking a few minutes to pet a horse and let it see that you aren't going to hurt it. My horse would not have reacted well in that situation either. I can't believe he had the nerve to act the way he did when you went to take the lead rope!!!! One of these days he's gonna do that to the wrong person and get that kick....
