What would YOUR for sale ad say?

If you were to put up a 'for sale' ad for yourself in the lines of an equine ad, what would yours say?

Mine would go along the lines of

'Chestnut mare for sale, can be tempremantal so needs an experienced handler. Can hack alone, but prefers company, can be a bit spooky. Only to be used for light work due to an old injury. A bit too good a doer so no extra feeding required. Good home more important than price.'

Oh me!....Even I wouldn't buy me! lol

:) What a cute idea! I'll have to think a bit before wording mine.

Aged stallion for sale. Chestnut, starting to grey out. Barrels, poles, excellent trail horse, and experienced fox hunter. Would make excellent herd sire. Crosses best with strong hipped Palominos with pretty heads.

Hey, you asked...

"Thoroughbred mare for sale.

Prime of her life! Experienced in Cross Country, but is pretty lazy. She doesn't tolerate new riders well, so for experienced people only. Doesn't put up with stupidity. Will make pretty babies, but beware when she is in season. Mare Magic won't even put a dent in this girl's mood swings.
Be prepared for a high feed bill- She never stops eating!

Free to any home. Can't afford this one's eating habits or crankyness."

Sorrel Paint Mare for Sale

She has been worked with of and on for most her her life, but just started getting regular work in. I would still consider her green. She is a sweety and loves people. However, she can be very "mareish" when in season. This girl has the basics down for western speed events. She is fast and loves to go. She is a TERRIBLE jumper. Good on trails, goes alone or with a group. Call for more info.

Shetland Pony mare, chestnut but really changes colour from a bright red to a more browny tone. Does have small pony syndrome so needs an experienced handler. Good doer, would eat own body weight if allowed. Probably wouldn't pass a vet check, eye sight is shot and conformational problems with the feet. Will pop a course of fences though or quite happy to work on the flat or go on a hack. Happy with or without company. Really doesn't like kids.

Dark bay grade mare for sale. Looks black in the winter, but is really just bay. I am not sure of what breed(s) she is. 14.2hh with front shoes. Goes western or english, bareback and even bridleless, but seems to like dressage and trail riding best. Needs confidence over jumps. Often needs extra motivation with whip/spurs to get her to really pick her feet up because she is so easy going. Spooky (especially at plastic bags) until she trusts her rider. She is the kind of horse that gets nervous when her rider is nervous, but is clam when you are calm. Loads, clips, bathes. Has been to lots of shows. A little mareish when in season. Gets along better with mares than with geldings.

Arab mare for sale
This girl is a sweety to everyone she meets has all the basics down but needs some training to finish her, still green. Could do english or western, but has mostly be ridden with a western saddle. Gets along with mares and geldings. Isn't marish at all even when is season. Has potential just needs help reaching it. No vices good with vet/farrier.

You are never better than anyone. Every rider has skills they need to improve. The only one you must compare yourself with, is you.

Hard working, dependable blood bay QH mare. Brave & willing. Can be a bit bossy and definitely the alpha in the herd. Can be very marish in season. Quick learner but also quick to outwit handler. Needs soft handed rider, will dispatch of those who don't. Favorite pasttimes are working cattle & trail rides.

Life is like a camera. Focus on what's important, Capture the good times, Develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, Take another shot.
