I like "the Black Stallion"..maybe cause I loved that series of books so much as a kid.
I really like alot of the horse movies mentioned but if they have sad endings I can't watch them again.
I love many western movies mainly because of the horses and the beautiful western scenery

Our farm is home to 4 adopted draft horses
Please consider adopting and give a horse back it's life.

But now I'd have to say The Horse Whisperer or Hidalgo - LOVE that movie!
Right on! Wild Hearts That Can't Be Broken is an amazing movie! I have to disagree though, The Man From Snowy River beats all. Hidalgo was pretty good, Viggo Mortenson can sure ride.

Man from Snowy River was good but I like Return to Snowy River better.

A good cowboy always has a better horse at the end of the ride, a poor cowboy will be afoot reguardless of the horse.

Both were amazing movies (I have been watching them since I was three and I am seventeen now. I used to ride my spring horses when they went to bring in the "mob" lmao ) but even though Return to Snowy River had better stunt work, the acting wasnt as good...
