What's your weather like today??

So, I can't go ride my horse today like I planned. Not with our weather right now. -40*C with the windchill overnight. WOW. So, make me go into dream land and tell me what your weather is suppose to be like for the weekend.

It's snowing and more slippery than snot outside. It's just so ucky. It's a bummer, I was supposed to drive some dinner to my grandmother tonight too. (Not happening now.)

The path is different for you and me, but the journey begins in the heart.

Well we here in the desert don't get that cold, thankfully. But we do have a cold front and some rain and snow coming through. But I'm a weenie about cold weather, hence the reason for living in the desert in the first place lol!

Snowing here today. Supposed to clear up for the weekend, and be low 50s.

It's cold!!!!

It was snowing this morning and the wind is blowing 20 mph plus. With the windchill the temp(F) must be in the negative. We went to the back side of the ranch to look for some cows we are missing that didn't come out of the mountains and I took a few pics.
Glad I was in the pickup with the heater on!!!

My Husband said he didn't want to 'die in the cold', so we moved from Wisconsin to Florida two Winters ago.

This coming weekend's forecast in °F is:

Saturday, November 23
Mostly Sunny
82°
58°

Sunday, November 24
AM Clouds/PM Sun
64°
47°

A 20 degree difference will make for an interesting ride on Sunday. ;-P

Well, up until this morning, our weather had been very pleasant. 50's and 60's all month long. Then, today, the bottom fell out. I was out in it around 9 this morning when the temps dropped almost 20 degrees in about 30 minutes. Currently, it's 28*F with sustained winds around 30 mph, gusts up to and above 40. Also, it's spitting just enough moisture to lay a nice amount of ice all over everything. I won't be surprised if we lose electricity at some point tonight.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Crystal clear, blue skies, snow dusted mountains on the horizon, a high of about 42F today and about 27F low tonight (thats like - 2 or -3 C) frosty mornings, but GREAT riding!
