Well, up until this morning, our weather had been very pleasant. 50's and 60's all month long. Then, today, the bottom fell out. I was out in it around 9 this morning when the temps dropped almost 20 degrees in about 30 minutes. Currently, it's 28*F with sustained winds around 30 mph, gusts up to and above 40. Also, it's spitting just enough moisture to lay a nice amount of ice all over everything. I won't be surprised if we lose electricity at some point tonight.

It's been an unusually cold November here in NC this year. Just put another round bale out this morning, last one ate down to the pallets in 6 days. 6 days/bale normally only happens in late January/early February, but at least it's been dry.
In spite of that, it was a cool but beautiful day today. Perfect horse weather
