    When the search goes backwards...

So every once in awhile I throw my first horse's name into the search engine and see what pops up. Been trying to catch a glimpse of her now for 20 yrs. Once I swore I found her on a horseclicks ad, but sold already so contact info gone. Went on a searching frenzy of the area but couldn't find anymore info. Tried again tonight and this ad pops up - Arabian-Cross Horse for Sale in Sheldon, Wisconsin
Says the dam is a Arab/ QH, but nothing else. Once again.. sold... so I can't contact and find out about the mare.
It's just one of those searches hoping that your first horse is happy and living the good life and just maybe the owners will let you take her back for those final years.
So if anyone in WI area hears of a 1984 chestnut mare named Missy's Eclipse who's mainly Arab with a dash of QH would love to hear about it. She was registered with the IAHA but can't find her name in the AHR.

I found that the Arab database was a little glitchy when doing horse searches. But, try doing an owner search. If she was registered under your name, look yourself up and see every arab bred horse that you ever owned that was registered to you. Just a suggestion ;)

    Yearling
Yeah, I sometimes search Dreamhorse for the four year old (who would no longer be four) I sold, just out of curiosity. I'd like to know where he is and what he's doing. He hasn't come up.

If anyone knows a grey draft cross PMU gelding named Dante, who would be about eight or nine years old now, say hi to him from me. :)

I don't think I ever put her in my name. I was only a teen at the time but I remember having her papers and giving them to the person who bought her. I remember the stallion was purebred and I could swear named Stars and Stripes but the one listed doesn't have her listed under him. The mom was registered half Arab but I can't remember her name.

I am on the local horse sites/classifieds on a weekly basis, mainly to see what's out there, price/quality etc but always look extra hard at ads that look like past horses, all I can hope is they are happy and safe and if they do end up online for cheap I can have the money to buy them back
