    Where did it go?

I used to ride every bucky nasty obnoxious horse I could get my hands on... Now I want the most trained horse I can get my hands on... partly so I can put it through it's paces or I should say... to see if I can put it through it's paces...

I used to jump anything that was jumpable... lawn chairs, downed trees, jumps, old tires... Now I look at the jump cock-eyed and think... what is that? 2 feet? I think that's higher than 2 feet...

Now... I still do it, if you tell me to jump it, I'll jump it... If you tell me to ride it... I'll ride it, but not like I used too....

    Where did my confidence go????

I know exactly what you mean. I think mine has gone since having kids, I tend to look at all things now and think of the dangers etc....

If you do find out where its gone and how to get it back, will you please please let me know. I want mine back too.

Is that something that goes with age? You know, kind of like hearing and your mind?? Hahahahaaaaa I'm just joking...

I think that after you have children, grow a bit older and maybe a bit wiser, you tend to see things differently, you have your priorities changed and you maybe tend to lean more on the safer side. I know that's what happened to me the very moment I knew I was going to have a child. Of course that's not everyone, just my own experience.

    Trained
I think you are on to something here....I used to be so wild...I mean obnoxiously wild. Now I'm the one running around screaming "HEY! , Don't shove that penny in the light socket!" I used to be the one that was hey...lets stick a penny in the light socket.... Kids ruined everything!!!!!!!

Hahah... I'm just kidding. But I have slowed Wayyyyy down and now I'm a bit bored with myself. Maybe I'm just trying to be a good example for my kids. I don't want the little buggers to get hurt because I love 'em so. I think its crossing over to my life too.

Dang... I didn't mean to turn this into a therapy session...hahaha.

Anyways, Farmpony I think your confidence is in the Toybox with the rest of ours! :P

Lol he wears one of my head bands around faithfully, it's pretty cute actually. The little face on his shirt has a halo and devil horns and says 99% angel. Lol It suits him well.
