I am glad that you found a source of hay anyway.

I'm a firm believer in "all that goes around, comes around". One time a fellow asked me to go pick up his buddy, that he'd pay my gas. Deal. I picked the guy up and went to the first fellow for the money. His reason for not paying was that he didn't ride in the car so get the money out of the guy who did, who had no money. A few months later the first fellow applied for credit and I just happened to serve on the board. No one knew who he was but I did. I told them I couldn't approve a line of credit as he doesn't pay his bills. His application was turned down. All because of $5.00. Hee hee hee

I found a guy that lives close to me that would sell me hay all year round. (This was before I found the guy that took my money and didn't deliver.) Anyway, he delivered the first round bale when I wasn't home and it was moldy and I was seriously pulling out fishing poles and Wal-Mart bags out of it. I can't believe the guy charged me $50!

That's one reason that I don't pay until the hay is on my property. If they were to bring bad hay, they can take it on back home.
