The first time I met my husband I was riding colts through a horse sale he tried to hire me to ride some horses for him. I blew him off.

Fast forward about 10 yrs, we met again in a bar. Was married 9 months later. At that point he claimed he didn't date horse girls because they were crazy..LOL well he got a whole truck load of crazy when he married me.

(Husband cowboys, worked feed yards, rodeo pickup man, horseshoer and cow hauler)

P.S. I met some boys at cow sales too ;)

Cowchick, that's a sweet, funny story :) And I guess I'll have to spend some time at livestock sales, with every intention of buying livestock of course... ..

Trying to find a decent man that isn't immature or into the same sex (I thought I had found me dream man. Turns out he already did LOL) is hard enough, let alone one that is into horses!

I found a good one and converted him
For going to riding lessons, since he was without a car at that time, he borrowed a youth bicycle to go the 5 miles one way. It sure was a sight to see, he's 6'6"

I went to a rodeo and met a nice cowboy once. Had a great night dancing, drinking, and hanging out. Even met up the Next morning for breakfast and a trail ride. I rode his stallion. Ended up dumping the guy and buying the stallion. :)
