Where would I find a green broke, large, project pony near New York?

I've been trying to find an inexpensive, large, young, green broke project pony but they seem to be getting scooped up every time I am about to go look at one! I want a green broke, relatively "fancy" pony because I want to be able to train it, show it and then resell it for a profit. Any ideas on where I could find such a pony?

You may have to look into traveling a little. Im in VA and I know there are a LOT around here that are not selling! I don't know where you are in NY but it would be atleast 5hrs im sure. I know there tend to be a decent amount in MD too. Something to think about.

I havent really looked at ponies, but I know a lot of TB's that just havent been able to do anything on the track that are around 3yrs old that are being given away so if your not dead set on a pony that's an option too! Most I've seen have just been out to pasture for a period of time and people want to get rid of them before winter.

cheap, for sale, large, pony, project
