Why do you love your horse today?

I thought I'd start this thread as kind of a general warm fuzzies for everyone, because every time I go see my horses I find a new reason I love them. So share away: why do you love your horse today?

You can share every day if you want!

I'll go; since I'm itching to anyway:

Today I love Gypsy because last night she was SO good... she is responding beautifully to cues to move each of her front feet independently (on the ground only so far, but under saddle is next), sidepassing, moving off my seat and picked up the general idea, if not the full principle of leg-yielding last night. I cannot believe how amazing this horse is and can't wait til her daughter is up to speed so I can turn her into an amazing horse as well.

Today I love Tally because she picked up trick targeting last night in about four tries. And even though I ran out of carrots to give her, I'm super excited about working with her some more!

I love my horse Angie today, and everyday, because I realize how similar our personalities are. Meaning I can apply the same tatics that work on me on her and actually get somewhere

I don't have a horse, but I love my friend's horse! We've been working on seat cues and leg cues because I want to work on my balance and not riding with my hands. He's an Arab and pretty forward, typically. We were trotting figure eights with no stirrups and I asked for a stop and he gave me a perfect full stop with no reins whatsoever! It was a great way to end our work for the day!

I love my horses more every day because no matter what has happened or how much stress I am under, they are right there with a soft eye and a willing back to take me away from all my troubles. Just one sniff of their neck or a touch of their muzzle and everything is okay for a while. They are willing to do anything I ask even if they are not comfortable with it because they trust that I won't do anything to let them get hurt. There is nothing more heartwarming to walk out and have nickers of welcome and the joy of pounding hooves awaiting my command. :)

Sappy, I know.

I love my mare, Breezy, today because she reminded me of her wild self when she decided to have some fun with me this morning and bolt (-:

I love my mare, Cochise, today because she finally stood still for me after years of trying to teach her to ground tie!

I love my gelding, Leo, today because he jumped his heart out for me and we came home with the bluest of ribbons.

I love my horses every day!

I love T because she chose me. It's an honor because she shows her trust and affection everyday. She will always be the horse of my heart. When we ride, I think it and she does it, yet she can be very opinionated when she chooses. She is sane and trustworthy.

I love Walka because he finds safety and comfort with me. If scared he looks to me to keep him safe. Like his mother, he has a good head and is proving to be a trustworthy mount.

They are a girlhood dream come true, and I am grateful everyday (even when its below zero and COLD) to have them and their care in my life. They keep me grounded and remind me of what is truely important in life. Instead of bling I am proud to wear horse hair!

I love my horses everyday. Whenever im upset about something or feeling in the blues, they always seem to know and understand, so they make it a point to make me feel happy and better. No matter how mad they make me sometimes, they always make my day. :)

What I love about Salem and what made me want him in the first place is that every day when I walk in he puts his head out and lets me walk up and kiss all over his muzzle. He never pulls his head back or shies away,he just lets me love all over him!! Today I love that even though I didnt get a chance to work with him he was still his sweet calm self-very impressive for a yearling I think!

I love my horse everyday. Like so many have said on here, if I am upset or anything, I can just go hang out with Jakk and things just seem to lift off my heart.
