I know why I love horses. But why did I get the crazy- horse- girl bug? Why do people love these animals so much? Why us?

I know my answer, but I thought it would be cool to hear other peoples

Um... because they love us no matter what your hair looks like, or what we smell like... and they tend to be nicer than most people.

I think that we see something in them that no one else sees. Like that first look at the horse that is like, your other half (If that makes sense) when everyone else sees just a 'horse'. I believe that we just have that special compassion for horses, because their just such a majestical creature that we LOVE TO BITS . Hehe

The allure of the wild horse, the dashing looks of a show horse, the fairy tale movies - that's what gets most girls started. But I think what keeps some girls/guys is the sweet sound of a nicker, the smell of a barn, whiskery noses (for show horses - prickly whiskers), and the ability to watch them be themselves at play in the pasture.

It's the simple things, that's why I believe a lot of people get out of it - they don't think they'll ever ride into the sunset in the glory of their movie.. life... whatever.

    Green Broke
This is my husband's theory: When I was made they ran out of regular blood and had to put in a pint of horse blood. Then when I got into the car accident a few years back I bled out the rest of my human blood. The horse blood re-generated itself. So now I'm mostly horse.

Lol There is nothing so good for the inside of a (wo)man as the outside of a horse.

I think it's a greater mystery why some people DON'T!!!!!

Good answers everybody. I personally think I was just born in the wrong century. I would much rather be riding a horse everywhere than dealing with some of the morons I deal with everyday in traffic!!!!
