Ha, my horse is a bay and I don’t think she is beautiful I know she is beautiful and no one could ever tell me different. Plus she is an easy keeper with strong black hooves and a black nose so that she doesn’t get sunburned! J Beauty is in they eye of the beholder and I love bays!!!

I've had the same sort of problem with my friend. We had been riding together since forever and we go to the same school. I was always a more confident rider so obviously I was put on some of the less beginner horses. I could handle it. But my friend would say "Oh it's just because -instructor's name here- likes you better!" But that wasn't true its just that I could handle a high spirited Thoroughbred over 2' fences. He rushes them and takes awward distances but I can still manage to make the whole picture look good.

Bays are my favorites, personally. I guess the only answer to your question is some people my as well be blinde.. If this girl is so often rude to you, you should talk to the B.O or an instructor. Also, she doesn't sound like she knows what's best for her horse, because it sounds like Rainy & "Lily" are friends and she wants them to stay away from each other, so it sounds like you should tell someone!
