Question Will It Keep Growing?

My Clydesdale filly's tail was docked before I bought her. Her tail (hair) will keep growing, though, won't it??

It depends if the bone was cut or not.

Was the bone cut?

Yes, the bone was cut, but not all the way down. There's about 6 inches of tailbone left. Wouldn't the hair keep growing where there is still bone? **scratches head**

It'll probably keep growing to a certain extent, but it doesn't look like it'll get past her hocks. Unless you MTG it or something.

Im sure it will keep growing. Just not as long as it would have been if the bone wasnt cut.

Yes, it will keep growing. I know horses with docked tails who have longer tails than horses with full tails.
