Question Winter ugh

So here in the US winter will be here before we know it unfortunately. So I want to know what everyone wears in the winter to ride. I unfortunately only have access to an outdoor ring (cries) so I wanted to know what is the best such as brands and clothing and why to wear in the winter for staying warm and being comfortable. There are tons of threads about horses staying warm in the winter but not for riders.

Thanks!

Under Armour! I swear by the stuff. My family hunts alot too so we have a good bit of warm stuff. I will usually wear Under Armour Cold Gear and then jeans and a shirt then a jacket. I also have a pair of Gore-Tex coveralls. They are insulated, water proof, and wind proof. Some can be pricey but they are worth it. I've had mine for years and they are awesome. I'm not sure if you live anywhere near a Bass Pro Shops? It's a big hunting/outdoor store and they usually have great stuff.

Yeah! I would make a trip there. They are just like Bass Pro and should have some pretty good stuff for you to choose from.

I usually wear my usual riding boots but I have wool socks for winter. You can also find those at Cabellas.

nicole i'm about 30 minutes from cabellas myself. They have wonderful winter gear! It can be a little pricey but it is well worth it! I bought my barn jacket there a couple of years ago and it keeps me so warm that I sweat under it. Even when its windy!

However, i've never found a pair of gloves that I like. They're either to thick to do anything in, or two thing. I usually put a pair of latex gloves under my gloves just when I ride, my hands are never cold!

This is what happens when you have democrats in office

Are you also in PA? Latex gloves? Like a dentist would use?
