Move your horses.

You say that this woman is ignorant and abusive, and that your BO is clueless.

Sounds like a hell of a place to board, and I sure as heck would be pulling up stakes and moving on.

You can't fix stupid, nor is it your place to 'lecture' this woman on her lack of proper horse care.

I see the problem as being the BO's, not yours. If the BO will do nothing, then all you're doing is frustrating yourself.

Where do all these clueless, ignorant BOs come from? This is the first BB I've come across where people continually rant about how dumb their BOs are, and how much better things would run if THEY were in charge.

Seriously, if it's that painful to you, find another barn.

I agree with Maverick. You have no right to tell her. You can tall the BO about about your concerns. On the BOs tack, its not your issue its between the BO and the woman.

What. A. Bitch.

Excuse my language, but honestly! No ne should do that to anything, let alone a horse. Give Reba a few kisses from me and give that idiot a slap behind the head...also from me. -.-

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...
...A very advanced maneuver.

Invite her to join the Horse Forum and then we can introduce her to the "It's me or you horse, and I like this **** saddle" club. We can take turns verbally bitch slapping her then send her packing.

That sounds like a good idea. :) I think that I couldn't stay quiet with a person like that around, but I would definitely start by talking to my BO. If that didn't work I would talk with her, adn then if it persisted I would leave. I don't like dealing with stupid people. Even when I am going to someone who has fallen I know that keeping my horse under control is important. If you let the horse loose it could cause that person or others to get hurt. My horses would have stood around, but not all horses will.

ROFLMFAO, Kevin.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Yep Killjoy extraordinaire here

I have just worked in a lot of barn settings, and believe me have had LOADS of experiences when ya just want to punch them in the face! Always makes ya feel better ...but really doesn't solve anything.

So yeah I stand behind my OP as boring, and no fun as it is lol

Horses are like chips...you can never just have one
