Question Wool or Fleece cooler?

Hello everybody, I would like to know what you prefer for a cooler; wool or fleece? I am going to be making one for my mare soon but I am not sure which would be better. I was thinking of also being able to put it under her blanket on very cold nights (as long as it's dry of course). So which would be better for that? Should I make 2 instead of using the same one? Let me know your thoughts and your experiences.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I wasn't sure where to put it.

Thanks!!

Wool, hands down. Much better fabric properties :)

Eta: I would suggest getting a specifific stable blanket or liner for under blankets on cold nights; coolers are notorious static machines on dry hair.. Eugh.

How does the waffle-knit compare to fleece or wool cooler? I'm guessing you find it's better. :)

And thanks for your in put JustDressageIt, :) I feel like wool will be more durable.

Not necessarily. I'd really prefer a wool one, but I didn't have the money. So I went with a waffle-knit, which was probably the next best thing for me. :) I really like it :)

Wool by far. Dry horse much sooner after a workout.
