Well I definitely want the suede leather, but no prices mean I can't afford it lol. Although Lizzy has stopped eating my money for the most part so maybe, just maybe, she will allow me to save enough money for one of those awesome horses and the saddle to go with it.

What fun! Gave me some great ideas to break up the boredom of winter arena riding!!

Well, poppy, you could do it with your Lizzy too, maybe not this far, but its possible. There's a gentleman in Germany who has, actually out of necessity (bad back) developed a riding style mixed out of Spanish, Californian and classical which is pretty darn close to this and is very popular amongst "hobby" riders there, regardless of breed of horse. He says you wont need a fancy Spanish saddle, any saddle with a deep, straight seat will do, he is starting his horses with a snaffle or bosal, then goes to a roller bit with loose shanks, then a Billy Allen.
He's got several books and DVD's out, but I doubt they are available in English.....

Darn, I took two years of German back in highschool but I doubt I retained enough to understand what he would be saying lol. I bet Lizzy would love it much more than regular boring arena work.

She for sure would.
Hmm....I bet you heard about Buck Brannaman. If not, look into that. He's pretty close to that type of training and riding and he's American
