Wow really? Who would put their horse in this?

Just thought I'd share an ad I ran across when trailer shopping. I sure wouldn't put my horse in this!

Does not look safe for horses
But it looks safe for sheep or goats

My dad said they had a hired hand on the farm and his horse road in the box of the pickup truck. No sides or anything and he was just fine. If it was a last resort I would use this trailer but not my first choice!

I've seen trailers like that. Remember the movie "no country for old men"? I think the sherif moved his horses in a trailer like that. Seems that was what it was.

Don't recall that movie. I can't imagine that being a comfortable ride for them, squinting from all that wind. Not to mention how do you feed them anything, how would you tie plus worse if something happens? Eek this makeshift convertible just has too many what ifs for me yikes!

You know in the old days the horses rode in the back of pickup trucks. No such thing as trailers. Not a first choice but not unheard of.

Well I bought one, just trying to straighten out some title issues at the moment so I can get it registered. Just a word of warning, if you plan on registering make sure the previous owner has that title in their name and signs off. It will avoid you the hassle of what I am going through now. That black one looks pretty nice for the price.

Reminds me of the trailer we passed on the road the other day. It had a top but the front window of it was smashed out and there was a horse riding along with it's head and neck stuck out the window! Looked like a giant dog, riding along....

Well, that certainly looks unsafe! I doubt the seller will ever get $1500 since it appears to need quite a bit of work to make it animal and road safe.
