Okay so my brother came home Saturday from the Marines, and he told me that I needed to make a list of what I want! But all I can think of is what I need for my horses! like Bell boots,, sport boots, polo wraps, and other horse things. What else should I ask for?

haha well me and my mom are horse people and my dad and brother arent and it drives them crazy but my dad gets my hay and is building my stalls and things in the barn. my mom told the family to give me cash its easier then me explaining, red cross, size large, sport boots. with matching bell boots and ending up getting the wrong thing. so i might just ask him to come with me but i dont want my mom to yell at me for letting him get me sport and bell boots...

Me and my boyfriend have been together over 6 years and he STILL has no clue what to get me, EVER lol. What I did this year was go on my favorite horse websites and sent him a link to what I wanted and specified size and color. The past few days he's really emphasizing that he doesn't EVER do online shopping, So I'm pretty sure I got at least one of the things on my list, I only put 3 things, a saddle carry bag, a pair of mt horse winter tall boots and a bridle(which was the cheapest of all on the list :-p ) I'm wondering if he will have it shipped to his moms house so I don't see it when it comes in the mail lol

PS: I'll be super disappointed if I don't get at least one of the things I specifically asked for, really need those winter boots!

My list for any holiday is always horse stuff. 11 years later, my hubby understands my obsession and gives in :) I'm currently trailer shopping, woot!

My dad is rehabbing my old jumps for me, it's been a long time since they've seen regular use. I'm assuming he's making me new brush/flower boxes too because he asked my mom if he could cut up her old fake christmas tree lol!

If my brother came home from the Marines I would tell him that him being home is all I need.

I assume that x-miss = x-mas = Christmas.

If you are asking someone who knows nothing about horses for something horse for Christmas you need to make it easy for them to succeed and get the right item. Telling a non-horse person that you want bell boots is like speaking a foreign language to them.

Send him links to the item you want and give him sizes and colors.

I agree with what Always said.

Find the items you want online, or go into the local tack store and take down the product numbers, then send him the link/numbers. That way he gets EXACTLY what you need or want.

My brother got home from Afghanistan last year, before Christmas, and him being able to be home (and done his tour) was the best present ever. There are a lot of others who weren't home from Christmas, and some will never be at Christmas again. Just food for thought.

Well,
I was walking into my family entertainment centre and ran into the wardrobe, now i didnt ask for a horse but i love animals anyway, a box fell out an it was a grooming kit, it said my name on it, i opened it up and it was a HORSE grooming kit!
When i saw it and rushed onto my computer and found this forum so i can get good tips and learn more! So i think i might be getting a horse for Christmas!?!!!?!!!
