    YAY Horsie Job!

So I have to briefly share this before I explode! I got hired to give beginner lessons at a local barn and could not be more excited!

Ok small irrational outburst is over...thanks!

Both English and Western but its really just young kids (or even adults I suppose) just starting out with riding so I'll be showing them how to groom and tack up, steer and stop the horse and other basic rules. A lot of it will be just getting control of the horse at a walk, trot, and canter.

I'm looking into getting an internship this summer with a trainer in the area. (it will be paid because the program I am in will pay me regardless of if my employer will or not) Keeping my fingers crossed that the trainer I want to work under will let me.

    Congrats, anyway!

I've "worked" under a trainer before, but it was lots of tacking up and gaining info any way I could. Lots of bathing and warming up horses or getting out the finished ones and watching what the trainer does. It was a lot of fun though would love to do that more. Good luck getting the trainer!
