    Yay I got my stuff

    Sorry extremely happy
Monday I ordered some of the Parelli things I needed/wanted (2 things I needed....2 things I wanted lol) and they came in the mail today!!!!

I got the carrot stick, the 6 foot savvy string (for the carrot stick).....those two things I needed
Then I got a rope halter (because I hate the one I have...it's tooo stiff) and a 22 foot lead!!

I'll get to try them all out tomorrow, but I gotta put some type of identification on them so no one takes them by mistake.

Oh, Appy, if you read this. Thanks for helping me pick out the color...Sonny will loook so pretty in it!!!

I like the 22 foot lead idea.... is it a soft rope? I like those really thick soft ones. I thought you made a carrot stick? Or was that just a dressage whip?

It is a soft-cotton rope (I believe it's cotton). Yeah I like it because it gives us alot more room to work in the arena. Parelli.com - ROPES & STICKS - 22-Foot Snap Line
(that's a picture of it and it's details)

I had an off-brand "Handy Stick" (Like Clinton Anderson's one), but it was extremely flimsy (I could break it in my hands if I tired hard enough) and the rope was too thin and it snapped. So I just bought the Parelli carrot stick and then the string to go with it (they sell the string seperately...which is nice cause if Sonny breaks this one I won't have to buy the whole thing...just the string)

    Yeah iit's extremely nice!

The carrot stick is just an extention of your arm, being able to give a little clearer cues to the horse by using it.
