You know you're a horse person when......

..........you go to a business training and bring your HORSES home a treat, but not your kids In my defense, it was only a one day training (not like I was going out of town on a big trip) and it was just an apple from my box lunch.

... When you feel more at "home" in your heart with them than your family...

Think of it not as a failure but as a success in how not to do it.

Don't look in a horses mouth for a gift.

When you think gulf corses are a waist of good pasture space!
Theres one around here with a horse right next to it in a small pasture, it always bugged me but they finally turned it into pasture!

You never leave town and instead let the rest of your family go w/o you b/c you are afraid to leave your horses in anyone else's care. Or, maybe that is a "mental" horse person. :)

There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it.

Nope Missy, I leave my husband!
In a few weeks I'm taking my kid to Florida with my parents, he's staying at the farm. But I'm still going to worry.

When you find horse hair and hay EVERYWHERE. Everywhere from bra to mathbook. No joke.
When you think horse poop almost smells nice

You get up at 530 on your only day off to do something you know is going to leave you utterly exhausted, smelly and probably sore.

For FUN!

Whenever I go to my dad's house, I have little anxiety attacks about my horses, lol.

What you talkin bout Bob? It's called Eau De Equine Facility.
I was watering tonight and all I could smell was grass, dust, and poop. Heavenly aroma therapy!
