There were snow flurries last night! I was sitting at the highschool football game..Freezing! Everyone was cuddling in blankets trying to stay warm

Horses aren't just a pleasure, they are an escape from all evils of mankind.

Katesrider011: Oh, I know, the hurricanes are awful. We were lucky not to get any hit us directly this year; a few years back we got them ALL. My current BO spent the extra money to make this barn concrete rather than wood, so it's not going anywhere in the case of a hurricane.

Hmmm. I don't know if I have a favorite season. I enjoy parts of all of them and really dislike other parts of all of them. Spring when it's finally not muddy is perfect. Early and late Summer is really nice too, but mid-summer when it's buggy, humid, and hot sucks! Fall is gorgeous, until deer season starts. Winter is always a blast until we get the mid-winter thaw and there's a layer of ice under the snow.

I just enjoy any time I get to spend with my horses no matter the weather.

Yeah, they had predicted that this year would be one of the worst, most active hurricane seasons and none even hit land.

Fall for me. No mosquitoes, beautiful colors on the trees, not too hot, not too cold....just right

Winter here is pretty w all the snow...but w our windchill and temps dipping down to -45Celcius....your face freezes off in seconds...not fun!
And our summers are so hot n humid temps up in the High 30s(Celsius), and so many flys n bugs....again not fun!
And Spring is so muddy and sloppy from all the melting snow...again not fun!

So yeah... I LOVE fall!

Horses are like chips...you can never just have one

1st- MAVERICK101 HOLY COW -45(Celcious) I would not survive at all!! That's just down right ridiculas.... Haha our seasons are so different! For me I love Autmum!! All round the colours, the tempreture, the clear blue skys with bright burning sun.All of it! Spring I like to with the bottle green grass and fluffy clouds and bright livley flowers and all the animals.

Im not a fan of December, January & Febuary months, ugh summer! Yuck! Sun, sun and more sun! Drought, dry dirt and dust! And soo many flys!! NOT FORGET FIRES, YUCKY SNAKES!
Nor do I like winter (June, July and August) ! Its either humid and wet or freezing and wet!! Always muddy! Winter usually brings floods too =/

So im for the Autum & Spring =D

Yep it is ridiculous! Mind you that is w the wind chill factor worked in, but even at -35 is just plain ridiculous! I often ask myself why I live here :p

Our late spring/early summer is lovely, so I don't mind tht time of year.

But yep Autumn in all its glory...I also love how the colors in the leaves seem to bring out the horses colors and make them look more vibrant as well.
