Your Horse's Name(s)

How many names has your horse had in the past? How did you name your horse with it's current name?

Miss Take's original name was Commanche. o_0 Yeah. Then she got her current one, which is a play on the word "mistake." You just say it like Miss Tah-Kay. She got that one because she was a mistake for her former owners. She was too much horse for them. But now she's my good mistake.
Oh and someone thought that the name Flower suited her.

Justin, as far as I know has always been Justin - - His show name went from "Just In Time" to "SS Just Like Clockwork" when I bought him.

Boo used to be known as Rex. It definitely doesn't fit his cute big brown eyed kind personality, so he's now known as Boo or BooBaloo or Boofus :) His show name has always been Unforgettable Secret.

Justin (qh/tb)
Boo (asb)

Highland Dancer was "Buttercup" when I bought her - that was promptly changed to "Dancer."
Cinzano was Cinzano
My Style's name was "Champagne" when I got her, which changed to "Maia" and then I later came up with "My Style" as a showname.

Don't know what Ogre was before we got him. Kids named him (obviously).
Stella was named Razor. THAT had to change.
Luna has been Luna since birth.

Stella - sweet, timid, elegant, lovely, lively, amazing
Luna - large, unattractive, naughty, adored

Vida was called Midnight when I got her. Her registered name is Mi Vida Loca
Sassafras was called Cut Throat because she has a huge gash in the side of her throat she got when she was a foal from a metal pipe (she almost died from it) Sassafras is her registered name we just call her Fras.
The babys have never had any other names besides Saro and Shiloh, although we sometimes call Shiloh "baby fras"
