Survive unemployment, improve my seat, keep motivated to ride at least every other day in this crappy weather and stay a nice person in all this stress

My goal is to get my new TB that will be here Tuesday into solid training level by the end of 2009- maybe even learn a few 1st level moves. She had no dressage training currently. We shall see

I'm going to college to FINALLY work with horses! This comes after several years of college/university and working full time. So I'll be studying a lot! I also want to learn how to drive a truck & trailer (much different than my car which was made in the 80s!) and maybe get another horse (hehehe)

    Started
Compete in AHA shows with my gelding Braveheart... and get us ready for Scottsdale in 2010! A dream of mine :)

Compete in schooling shows in W/T with my young greenie, Calista

Maybe FINALLY get back into eventing, with my mare Summer

Continue to improve my combined driving dressage scores with my gelding Chili Pepper

Get my mini stallion Spin broke to drive. Maybe Calista as well?

Get our house ready to put on the market!

Do more driving with my mini donk, Earl, who just learned to drive :)

Not horse related, but do herding with my mini aussie Rylie and maybe my other mini aussies (Roxi, Buddjet, and Toby). Rylie kinda started last week and LOVES it :)

Compete in agility with Rylie, Buddjet (who hasnt' competed in awhile) and my Alaskan Malamute, Kairyl.

Train Kairyl and my leonberger/newfies (Denver and Philly) to cart/drive

First off, I gotta get my LPN certification.

Then I focus on conditioning my hubby and his horse for trail riding (competatively). I have thought of working with my stud colt and perhaps put him in some halter classes. I gotta get him registered with the American White and Creme Horse Registry. I will also teach the hubby's horse to jump. And start my 7 year old to riding her horse in shows.

I am also going to LOOSE 30 POUNDS, DANGIT!

    Lets see...

    - to be completely comfortable riding without stirrups (I've had a huge fear of falling off ever since I broke my tailbone and riding w/o stirrups scares me to death)

    - Start jumping higher and hopefully work my way up to 3ft again (I've had to start over again and again because of injuries)

    - possibly do a show during the summer other than schooling shows if money isn't an issue

    - lose a few pounds

That's all I can think of right now.

I want to get Twende jumping and going on the flat really well... I would like him to not buck me off at the show grounds again this year, and be relaxed. I want to move on to slightly bigger shows and [hopefully] show at state fair.

Oh, DarkChylde, I want to lose 30lbs too!! I know as soon as I start working in the barns again I'll drop it quickly... it's just right now that I'm having trouble losing it. I walk 3km each way to work probably 4 times a week (I drive the other 2 days).

Compete at Training level eventing reguarly at the USEAs with Bailey.

    Go to polocrosse nationals again

Get Drake going solidly at 1st level and schooling second. Jumping 3'6" then sell him.

Get some of the young horses going and sell them.

Get about 4 OTTBs and work with them.

Get my B pony club rating.

    Those are the main ones.
