Gore Trailers - Opinions?

Until recently, I had never even heard of Gore trailers. I hate the name. *shudder*

Does anyone know if these are actually quality trailers though? The one I'm currently looking at is a 2004 all Aluminum 2 horse bumper pull w/ a 4' tack room. Asking price is $6500.

I have been trying to look up comps, and I haven't been able to find many of these trailers listed online. The only really comparable one I managed to find was a 2000 aluminum 2 horse, also with a 4' tack room, which was marked as 'sold' and listed at $6500.

On the surface, it appears to be pretty much exactly what I'm looking for...an aluminum ramp load two horse bumper pull. It is tall (7') on the interior, and has space for tack storage. Not only that, it is sort of within my price range...almost. LOL

Also, I do have another question. This trailer is almost 4 hours away from me, 8+ hours round trip. I am no trailer expert, so just ME looking at it is not all that useful, and unfortunately, I don't really know anyone whose opinion I would fully trust. Would it be possible, or just stupid, to find a professional to inspect the trailer for me, and have it delivered?

Gores are good trailers. I believe the reason you are having a hard time finding comps is most people keep them once they get'em. I don't know about finding a professional, never tried that....
