bI've no idea what model it was, I know it was a large black pickup with a sort of solid cover over the pick up area, it was about 2 years ago mind!

The only pickup that is available from ford in the UK is the Ranger (which is also useless)
Ford Ranger - the powerful and reliable pick-up from Ford.
it looked like a fatter version of this car with a few changes. I know that it had a 6 Litre engine and concidering the size of the engine the preformance was shocking!

ETA
It looked something like this one except it has a bit of a funny shape on the front (i cant find a pic of a similar one online, I've looked hard, this is the closest I can find).
