So last year I bought a 4 horse slant with an ac in high hopes that my children and husband would ride with me. Ha. Anyway now we are just down to 2 horses (the pony is sold as of today) and I am the only one that rides for now. I have a friend and we are going to go and do some trails when it gets cooler and we may do some camping (the boys camp and do whatever and I ride) but I am just not sure if we need such a big trailer anymore. I have thought about moving down to a 3 horse, but not sure if it would make a big difference. I am still holding out for my 5 year old to ride. We just don't have anything for him safe to ride. So there could be potential to need to haul 3 horses at some point but most likely it will be 2. I don't want a bpbut I feel silly with this huge trailer I rarely use. WWYD?
Personally I would keep the bigger trailer. Id rather have and not need... than need and not have. Plus... if you already own the trailer. I mean if you downsize to a 2 horse then decide to go bigger again... Youd have to buy another big trailer. Then youd wish you hadnt sold your 4 horses. So I personally would keep it =)
Well we are selling now for a different reason. Gotta pay some bills and so it was either the trailer now or the horses and the trailer in a few months. I opted for option 1. I have access to 3 trailers anytime I need them and we never go anywhere anyway and won't anytime soon. I would rather live without a trailer for a while than to have to sell my babies.
