Trailering Small Pony

Hi all!

We have a 2 horse straight load trailer, and we were asked to trailer a friend's pony. We're just trying to figure out what the best set up will be for the pony as she's quite small (think small shetland) and I don't want her to get caught under the divider or anything. Should I tie her, with her being that small? Or just take the divider out and box stall her?

Any advice would be appreciated!

I would just take the divider out, personally.

I would take the divider out and leave her loose. Chances are when you get where you are going you'll find her standing happily backwards.

Thanks everyone! We ended up taking the divider out, and she was happy as a clam for the three hour drive. :)
