No I was not trying to be stubborn or anything at all, you said to make sure he can lope circles and all that and I just said he can do that I wasnt trying to be rude I do have an open mind I was just saying he's already okay with that. My only main concern is the pattern cause that the only time I see an issue with him manly when im riding. Other then that he has not real vices while riding. (Was not trying to be mean or anything at all, sorry. Just wondering what could be the problem)

The problem has to be the way you are riding him on the pattern or there is a big hole somewhere in the foundation. At this point, I would say a video of big, small, slow and fast circles and of how differently he goes on the pattern would be the only thing we could go by.

Something is different or he has already developed an aversion to the barrel pattern. That can be really hard to fix and usually comes from pushing too fast before a horse is ready.

Okay I could do that I'll get it soon. I have trained my sisters horse for barrels to and he's great at it! But would walking and slow trot be to fast for him??
