Abby's fist horse meet

abby has her first 4 h meeting next weeked , she is so ready to go and i think my daughter is too!! the only promblem is that abby's little brother (he's 2) panic's if he can't be with her (abby), i have taken her from the paddock to the front of my house ( where he can't see her) and it sounds like his being murderd, he get's so upset that he get's the cows next door up set and running all over the place , paces his fence and has been know to pull up on his fence. (we have cow pannels for the paddocks by the house, i do not want to take him with us because he's a pain to load and very vocal , i've tried locking him in a stall but that just get worse,...kicking , whimpering , swaying and cribbing....i've tried a paddock buddy but he stands there and whines and his buddy wants out!!! i really want abby to go but do not know what to do......

sounds like you got a problem! My guess is that you are going to have to slowly start separating them...longer and longer each time until he gets over that. But for this weekend, maybe a sedative to calm him down? I don't know....
