    Advice please.

I am just getting back into horses and need some reading/watching material! I love to learn and want to do the best for my horse.

I am really just looking for a trail companion, I want to start with groundwork since it's so bloody cold and we don't have an indoor arena. My adopted horse hasn't been ridden in a few years so I'd like to make it a fun/easy transition for both of us.

    Thanks in advance!!

Do you have DirectTV? There is a good channel on there, RFDTV. They have several different trainers that are good to watch. My favorite is Clinton Anderson.

RFDTV is available on the internet, tho Idon't have it myself.

I like the work of Jonathan Field. Some excerpts of his training CDs , which are too expensive for me to buy, are on his website and he is very clear in his explanations.

Julie Goodnight also has a website with a really good FAQ section. Her videos are not as expensive and are really good. Her "Leadline Leadership" would be perfect for your situation.
