This is all good advice. I think this is where knowing your horse and his/her attitude really helps out. Some need some time in the round pen and others just need a good hand in the saddle.

Well I have been working on it for the past couple sessions and what I did to initially gain his respect back was free lunging and using a ton of body language and practically no verbal commands. Once I had him licking and chewing we worked some on groundwork, but then I just let him run the arena and play around, but to my surprise, he just wanted to follow me around everywhere :) Things have been going well since. Thanks for the advice!
