| | anyone ever built a horse riding arena
I know that this is not really related to training, but I need an arena to TRAIN my horses. So here it goes: I just bought some acreage near Dallas and am building a 125' x 225' arena. Right now the space is just part of the pasture, but I will be taking off the top 6 inches of grass/dirt to level it out. Has anyone ever built or started an arena. How much lime or sub-base do you use? How about sand as well? Any tips or information would be greatly appreciated- whether that be the design or just any suggestions!!! Thanks |
