    April's Progress

I think I'll do a few April updates here from time to time. But right now, I'm squealing like a child in my brain and have been since around 11 am. I went out to water the horses since my friend left to OKC until Monday a week ago. I gave all of the horses a few treats, and April took each of them from me without hesitating and like a lady.

I'm super happy. I can also usually pet her on the neck for a couple of minutes now, too. Only a few months ago would she give you dirty looks or try to kick you just for trying to touch her hindquarters.

    Happy time! <3

I'm fairly certain Scotch has done most of the helping. She's really started to make some forward progress since he moved in.

I haven't read any previous posts about April, but I am excited to see that you are so excited. It is so rewarding to see the progress we have made with our horses. Great work!

Yes, thanks. :) To catch you up, I'm crossing my fingers that April will be the horse to take me into cross country. I've never done it, and the path will be a long one, but I'm okay with that.

That's great! I am just starting my mare over fences and hope to get her out on the cross country course with a little more work too. Best of luck to you!

I'm going to see how well she does as a regular ol' jumper. If we do okay, I'm definitely going to try XC. 8D

    Good luck to you!
