BACKING UP IS JUST PLAIN EVIL!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 13 year old mare doesnt seem to like backing up at all!

If its when someone is riding her and making her back up,

OR when im holding the lead rope, and I need her to back up.

She tosses her head, and doesnt seem to like it.

What can I do to make her do it well on the bit, and on the ground???
