The first real home trail ride I took Rick on had me worried, didn't feel like getting tossed. Then as we topped a steep ridge three Army fighter jets decided to do a fly by. They came out of nowhere! 50 to 100 feet directly OVER our heads. The horses didn't even flinch when we got slammed with the boom. Then I guess they thought it was cool, flipped sideways and got us again... Shook the General's hand the other day and told him to thank his guys... I've got the most bomb proof horses in the area!

So he doesn't spook at fighter jets, scary alligator logs in knee deep puddles, I sometimes feed with WM bags so they just want to eat them, ATV's, dirt bikes, ponies, cows, and I've got a kid that races the fence with them on her bike, scooter, skateboard etc... Rick has no worries... UNTIL you walk around the corner with a black saddle! OMG it's a giant evil spider that wants to devour his back and rip him to shreds! Still using my brown one cause I'm too busy to get him used to a stinkin black saddle. :( He would look so good with it on!

I am going to take a camera out in the morning to film my bomb proof horses. I am straight across from a very explosive ski hill, avalanche budget is 800,00 a season. Blasting starts at 7am and some days, go all day. Up to 12 pound charges.

Ringling Brothers Circus did a weekend show at our fairground where I board Fayde. They had some elephants corralled outside one end of the arena and some ponies/mini's along one side.

4 huge elephants...not a blink nor a twitch of an ear, she passed them alongside the rail like a pro.

The 1/2 dozen "equines"? Well, apparently (according to Fayde) they were just waiting for her to pass so they could leap over the corral panel arena fence and devour her down to her little hooves.

    /sheesh, silly horses.
