Bourbon saddled for the first time.

Have I said lately how much I love this filly she impresses me every day well today I decided to try the saddle on her see what reaction she'd have since she was basically untouched until I got her I thought 1 I'd never get it on her and 2 she'd flip out if I did. Well she proved me wrong on both. I got it on gently tightened the girth led her around to see what she thought...not much so I put the bridle on w/o reins led her nothing then added the breast collar and the back girth...LOL no reaction just walked like normal.

Awesome, sounds like you are doing a great job with her. You know you are training them properly when they take everything in stride like pros. She is very beautiful also!

She's so pretty! Its always nice when they take everything in stride like that instead of acting like psychos :)

My yearling filly is taking things like that too. I can't wait until she's big enough to start doing saddle work. Isn't it fun when they are so responsive and "easy'?!? Congrats on your awesome girl! She's a knockout!

Thank's everyone when I first got her she was a rearing mess she's 2 yrs old and had never been touched until the day before I bought her lord only knows what they did to get a halter and lead on her. She has come so far its amazing what consistent handling and giving her the leadership she was craving will do for them.
