    I also believe it's the training if you ride your horse biteless.....if I didn't feel confident with my mare I would not be riding her biteless but I trust her and in 8yrs. There has only been once where I didn't feel in control when she panicked, she heard something coming along the trail, all the horses did and she started spinning....I bailed and calmed her down and around the corner came a horse wagon of people LOL she's never seen or heard that out in the bush on the trail before....once they passed we all mounted and all the horses were settled down....
