Breeze

Okay, so I am giving you an update on my horse Breeze.

It has been a week since the trainer came. (maybe a little over a week)

For those who don't know about my other posts Breeze had some issues with rearing when I was working with her, biting and threatening to kick me.

All of that is not almost fixed.

I know Breeze is too young to lunge for a while, but everyday, we will do 3 circles each way. We have no problems.

Breeze does not rear anymore, does not bite, and does not threaten to kick me anymore. She is completely respectful.

I am still keeping watch for those signs that she will as I do not completely trust her as I did before again, but I am getting there.

We have even done some free lunging in a pen with other horses. She has all her focus on me again, and when I am done with her, I will let her go, and she will follow me to the gate again.

Thanks everybody for your advice and opinions. It helped a lot. (Except for those who told me to get rid of her!)

Thanks

Sounds like things are going along well, just take your time with her and always be aware of her body language......glad to hear you got it almost all worked out with the problems you had been having....
