An update! I purely love this horse and his skills. His such a well mannered and respectful horse. Iíve been having heaps of lessons too and have learnt to ride him so he performs to the best of his ability. His continuously that well mannered, enjoyable horse. Iím very excited for what the future holds for both of us. Iím so excited about my riding too its improved so much, because now I can focus on what Iím doing instead of ďHey, where is Chingaís mind at?Ē Since my cross country lesson I had another jumping lesson over SJ fences and weíve got my release all most perfect and his so much easier to jump. His a whole new horse! Iím so proud of him and I know my instructor is very proud of both of us. His jumping is amazing! His such a honest and enjoyable jumper, our whole jumping lesson we didnít knock ONE bar Ė even in the practice courses, he went over the barrel jump first time no problem! My trainers had been doing some dressage work with him too and his really coming along nicely. I have a dressage lesson on him today to help us prepare for our competition on the 18th, which I hope we ride well. He hasnít played up once lately. His been so enjoyable to ride. His starting to get the left canter lead with me too Ė which Iíve never been able to get him to pick up, his becoming more relaxed and balanced by the day and not too mention that muscle his building. Jumping wise, weíre about to start training over spreads, ect. But weíre jumped up to 80cm in our lesson and he was amazing!!
No critique, when Aamelia's dressage training him she has to bring her leg back to really give him inside leg, ect. So her position is effected by the aids she has to give him.
I only have a few pictures because I havenít had time to bring the camera out much.
Us in our XC lesson
Some of the flat pictures from XC.
Chinga & Aamelia.
Getting him to relax into himself.
As you can see, he needs bell boots.
I like this one.
At the end :)
As you can see its alot of work but his coming along really nicely.
