Clinton Anderson's NWC or Fundamentals package?

I have a great horse, but I'm trying to become a better rider and make sure that he stays a great horse. Even though I have rode a lot, most of what I know now I taught myself. There aren't any trainers in my area that can come out and give me lessons, so I was looking into Clinton Anderson's fundamentals package. I saw some great reviews of his videos on this forum, so I wanted to know if people thought it was ok to buy the package without the no worries club membership or vice versa. Any thoughts? I heard he really holds your hand through it, which is something that I need.

I'd go with Fundamentals if you're looking to train your horse. The information contained in it will give you a good grounding and base of knowledge so that you can later take in more and utilize all the supplemental material you'll find on NWC.

Get the fundamentals. When you're done you can still get a good chunk of your money back from selling them.

I don't have the fundamental kit but I do have "Gaining respect and control on the ground". It helped me a lot. If you don't have your horse respect on the ground you sure won't have it in the saddle.

What helped me with my riding and understand what my instructor was trying to tell me was reading and asking questions here. Clinton Anderson also has "Riding With Confidence" and I absolutely love this series. My riding has greatly improved since I purchased this series.

You may be able to find them on ebay for a fraction of what they cost at downunderhorsemanship. I know I got a great deal on mine on ebay.

If you're going to order them off his website, you may as well become a NWC member. You'll save 200.00 on the set, which is what you would pay for a year's membership.
