Cody VS. Koda...

Okay, so this is more like a question, but I wasnt sure where to put it, so here it goes... Im a Junior this year, and I will be graduating early next year. So my mom and I decided that we will do my senior pics this summer. I want to do my pics with my horse, and also with my Service Dog. Now my question is... How do I go about getting my horse to get along with my dog? My dog is fine, but Cody(the horse) HATES Koda(the dog) He just starts trotting around like Koda will hurt him or something. He is fine with my aunts dogs though... so I don't get his problem. Do you all think that it is possible to get my horse to chill out in the presence of my pup, or is it a pointless dream? Any way to fix this problem? I have to get the training going soon though lol. Thanks all!

If your aunts dog doesn't bother your horse, I would say the best way to have them get along is to just let them "get to know each other". By that, I mean bring your dog out to the barn more often and let him lay around while you desensitize Cody. Once he realizes that Koda isn't going to hurt him, They'll be buddies in no time!

Should I do it little by little so I wont get him too stressed out? Or just throw him in? Im very experianced in dogs... not so much in horses. Lol
