So after I worked my horse today I unsaddled her then rode her bareback. I started to work on collection my coach was trying to tell me to ask her to move under herself with her inside hind leg. The timing had to be perfect! Omg.. lol. So when I'd ask I'd try to do it at the same time that her inside hind leg was just about to lift off the ground. I have a hard time telling exactly when that it!

I know with more experience it'll get better at being able to feel it, but right now I don't. So what should I be looking for and exactly how should it feel??

The inside leg is lifting off the ground when the inside front leg is off the ground and coming down, it helps to feel this if you have a mirror. As for the collection bit, there's a good thread in the Dressage forum about how exactly it "feels".
