Oh yeah I must have looked crazy. The 2nd time (over an hour) with max, he threw himself on the ground under his mom. Fortunately i've owned her for years and she's THE BEST MARE EVER because I proceeded to dive onto him under her, directly under her belly. She put her head between her legs, looked at me under there, went oh! Good! Now that you're watching him for me i'm going to go eat my hay in peace! And stepped very carefully over me, and walked to the other side of the foaling stall to eat her hay. She let out a HUGE sigh of relief that she had a break from the kid ;)

Course now he's a total champ and super easy to handle but I swore he was going to drive me crazy in those early months!

Here's my 2cents... he is a baby... let him be.. give him some time off. Let him grow up a bit.. if you work with him, be prepared to discipline him some,but honestly if it was me id just let him mature some.
