Debridling acting up

    But unclip/untie from the post before putting the halter around her neck. That way she'll still have a handle but won't be tied solid. I've seen some pretty nasty wrecks, otherwise...

    It also helps if debridling isn't the last thing you do. When I come back from my ride, I take off the bridle, then still ask for a trick to get a treat, or groom for a whole 30 seconds, or ask them to back up... anything at all so the horse isn't sure that I'm finished with her until I actually leave her standing there. After I walk away, then the horse can do as she pleases, not before.
