Extreme Mustang Makeover

I saw this video from the Extreme Mustang Makeover, and it brought tears to my eyes:
Nokotaheaven and Thunderspark like this.

I can assure you it brings tears in person too. I am fortunate to have a friend who competed last summer (she and her hubby will have 3 mustangs between them to train this year)....this is a video of all she accomplished prior to her competition in NJ last august. That means that in this video this horse has less than 90 days on him. They took 5th in NJ...there were some really great horses and trainers there, and unfortunately Emma had to change her entire freestyle less than 10 minutes prior to entering the ring after a bad fall. So, 5th was pretty darn good! We were thrilled for her! And yes, she kept Chinks.....

If anyone wants to follow her journey this year, Let me know and I can give you her FB page.

franknbeans i am interested. I am interested in a mustang as a future trail/pleasure horse. I am talking years from now; however, the breaking/gentling process interests me. I have only ever worked with well handled horses, which is good and bad. You get to learn about fixing others mistakes(and making your own); however, its never a completely blank slate. I would be interested to see how your friend starts and finishes the project.
