Last year, during the hot, humid PA summer I decided to give my filly a bath. She was a bit over a year old at the time.
I went to clean her teats, and to do so, I put the cold hose under her leg. Next thing you know, she kicked me for the first time...EVER!
That is the only pic of my leg that I can access right now. Rest assured that once the colors fully developed, it was SPECTACULAR lol.
18 stitches in leg, riding one of mares, galloping bareback, didn't see the jagged branch sticking out :/ and it caught my leg, I stayed on, and rode on to the barn, I thought I just scratched it.. I jumped off..fell,,crawled away from horses hooves..loooked at my leg.. n seen my leg bone n screamed lol then got 18 stitches.
Almost broke ankle..riding gelding, in pasture..who made a mare mad..and mare went to kick him..gelding turned and hit my ankle :/ had to get xrays..they said I was lucky lol
5 staples in back of head :/ being stupid, n riding backwards on pony.. :/ then pony took of to barn..and it wouldn't stop.. I went to slide off..then in middle of sliding off..pony kicked up, n it threw me into the culvert.. :/ I've almost TONS of scars and stuff, There is more..but those are the woarst
I have soooo many, once I was kicked in the ribs and my ribs went through my lungs and they had to stick a tube in my lungs to release the blood and it squirted all over the room.
Also when I was little a horse bit me on the shoulder and swung me all over the place, it was scary.
Lol lots more but id be writing for hours
As a kid, I was tightening the girth of a girthy pony. The saddle flap was up and I was tightening the girth, when he moved over and squashed me against the wall with the saddle flap cutting against my cheek! ( totally my fault though) now he my go to pony when I just want some snuggling and love. I love that old man.
During my last lesson before one of my beginner shows way back when, my lesson horse knocked over the standard wile he was jumping, which spooked him, so he bolted around the corner after the jump. I got a minor concussion, and it was my first (and worst) fall!
